It is this biodiversity that makes your lawn an attractive environment for beneficial insects such as pollinators. Good cultural practices such as fertilization, aeration, topdressing and overseeding will improve soil quality, build density and improve the quality of your lawn. Control products
Since the introduction of the Pesticides Management Code in 2003, the amount of herbicides available for weed management is much less and the control products are not what they used to be. We have seen the emergence of biological products that are quite effective in controlling broadleaves such as dandelion and plantain. These products work differently from the old molecules and require adaptation in terms of expectations and result requirements. Lawn care professionals have a smaller toolbox than they did 20 years ago, but can still take care of your sustainable lawn. Be wary of the promises and impressive results guaranteed by some companies.
